Today I got back in town from a Mother's Day weekend trip. I picked up where I had left off by riveting the rear spar components together. Here you can see the reinforcement plate with various holes masked off. Those holes will get riveted later...with ribs, aileron brackets, aileron braces, flap braces, etc.
Here's the center reinforcement plate riveted on to the spar.
The inboard doublers got clecoed on...
...and riveted on. The wing spars are now finished!
Tonight I began deburring the lightening holes in the wing ribs. I only did a few of them. Not really picture worthy just yet. Gonna crank more on that tomorrow.
